Follow these easy steps to get your Zanussi ZT 56/2 R Refrigerator up and running in no time.
Before installation, inspect the Zanussi ZT 56/2 R Refrigerator for any transport damage. If any damage is found, contact your retailer before proceeding with installation.
Position the refrigerator so that the back is close to a wall, ensuring there is adequate ventilation as per installation instructions. Avoid restricted ventilation areas.
Adjust the level of the refrigerator by screwing out the adjustable foot or feet at the bottom of the cabinet using your fingers.
Remove all securing tapes inside the refrigerator. Clean the interior with lukewarm water mixed with bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). Avoid using soap or detergent as they may leave an odor. Dry thoroughly.
After installation, leave the appliance for 2 hours before turning it on. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
Ensure the refrigerator is earthed properly. Avoid standing the appliance on the electrical supply cable.
Regulate the temperature using the thermostat, which has 6 positions and an 'OFF' position. Position 1 is minimum coldness, and Position 6 is maximum coldness. An intermediate setting is usually suitable.
